Go to " Clock Gallery " page. Choose the clock you like and click on the " View HTML tag " button.
|
 |
If you would like to display the City Name, click the check box by " Display the City Name ." You can edit the City Name later. |
 |
Choose the Color and Clock size you like. You can change these attributes anytime.
|
 |
Choose whether to select your clock's time by TimeZone or City, and then pick a time zone or a city from a list. You can also change this attribute anytime.
|
 |
If you would like to use the Digital Clocks, you can choose the Date Format of your preference.

NOTE 1 : In order to use our clocks on your desktop, your computer must be connected to the Internet all the time. NOTE 2 : If HTML file is moved or deleted from the place where it is saved in step 1, the wallpaper with the clock(s) will disappear from your desktop.

| [ Basic Use ] |

Go to "Clock Gallery" page and click on the "Wallpaper" menu.
|
 |
Choose the wallpaper you like and download the wallpaper file by clicking the "Download" button.
|
 |
Decompress the file. This HTML document will be used as your computer's wallpaper.
|
 |
Save this wallpaper HTML file to your hard disk. |
 |
Right click an empty area on your desktop and select "Properties." Or click "Start," point to "Settings," click "Control Panel," and then double-click "Display."
|
 |
In your "Display Properties," select the "Desktop" tab. |
 |
Click the "Browse" button and find the HTML file you saved in Step 4.
|
 |
Click "OK" and you will have a customized Active Desktop with the clock.

| [ Advanced 1 -- Change the Time Zone ] |

Go through Basic Use Step 1 to Step 3. |
 |
Open the file you unzipped in notepad or any text editor. |
 |
Find the table tag and then the script tag. |
 |
Within the script tag you will see obj1.TimeZone ='PST'.

 |
Change only the PST to reflect the time zone you want. |
 |
Save the file, and go through the Basic Use Step 4 to Step 8. |

Go through Basic Use Step 1 to Step 3. |
 |
Open the file you unzipped in notepad or any text editor. |
 |
Find the table tag and then the script tag. |

From "<script src="http://www.clocklink.com/embed.js">" to the second "</script>" is the HTML tags which display the clock. (See image below)

Copy the HTML tag of the clock you like from the "Clock Gallery" page, and paste it over the clock HTML tags you found on Step 4.

Save the file, and go through the Basic Use Step 4 to Step 8. |

[ Advanced 3 -- Change the Background ]
|
 |
Go through Basic Use Step 1 to Step 3. |
 |
Open the file you unzipped in notepad or any text editor. |
 |
Find the body tag. |
 |
Follow the examples displayed below to set the background. If you would like to set a certain background image, set this using "background=". To set a background color, use "bgcolor=" and insert a color name.
Example1: To set a background image <body background="myCoolPic.jpg"> Example2: To set a background color <body bgcolor="red">

Save the file on the computer hard drive. If a background image is used, save the image in the same location as the wallpaper HTML file.

Follow the [ Basic Use ] Steps 5-8 to set the desktop wallpaper. |
